Michael Miguel - Director Marketing and Events
Michael is a marketing leader with demonstrated success of planning and executing experiential campaigns, corporate events, and guerrilla marketing strategies. He is adept at building and mobilizing cross-functional teams with a proven track record of growing direct and indirect reports through coaching and mentoring.
Prior to joining our team he was a Market Development Director (Experiential Marketing) for BI Worldwide a global engagement agency. At BI Worldwide he was integral part of the creative services group, specializing in experiential marketing initiatives, including events, consumer engagements and other marketing extensions.
He developed global programs, implementing cutting edge ideas that reflect the company’s and client's innovative spirit, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. He helped identify and close unique opportunities to deliver against business objectives while carefully tracking results.
Michael started his marketing journey at Verizon where he had a successful 20 year career. At Verizon he managed a multi-million dollar budget for a marketing team of 15. Designed and executed large-scale events focused on increasing consumer awareness and engagement. He defined Go-To-Market product and service strategies to support the consumer channels. Launched a streamlined approach in client-facing event management within the East market. Partnered and built relationship with key technology partners to assist in funding and creating experiences for internal sales and recognition events.
Michael and his partner are foster parents to 3 children, Jeremy Zoe and Alvaro and are dog dads to Cooper and Angel. He is an active board member for Embrella an organization providing support for foster children throughout the tri state area. During his free time he lends his theatrical talents to local community theaters throughout New Jersey.
